Re: Help with views of cab interiors of SN 660 or 661?
Hi Garth, Thanks for the reply. Yes, a trip to see PE1624 might help, but these PE clones were actually a fair bit different in terms of details relative to SN 660-661. But it might serve as a

Re: Help with views of cab interiors of SN 660 or 661?
Jim, I looked through my books and did some internet searching. Nada, except for one picture of a PE motor being scrapped in CARS OF PACIFIC ELECTRIC Vol. 3. No detail there -- the photo is pretty

Re: Help with views of cab interiors of SN 660 or 661?
Thanks, Justin. Yes, I believe those are Class Bs, smaller than the Class D #660-661, but probably had similar interior layouts. But as you say, it might work as a worst-case scenario/last resort. I'm

Iowa Traction Railroad still runs a Baldwin I believe. Worst case scenario you might get a general idea from there.

Help with views of cab interiors of SN 660 or 661?
Hi All, Does anyone on this list have any images to share showing the cab interiors of SN 660 or 661? I'm hoping to model these accurately during a future project. I've seen many *(hundreds?) of views

Re: Steam
Bill, The NE owned three steam locomotives, 1 and 2 were 4-4-0s, and 3 was a 2-6-0. NE 1 and 2 are shown on pages 280 and 281 of Demoro's book. The OA&E rented ATSF 125, a 4-4-0 in 1913. They owned

Re: SN 2307 at Mulberry
No Sir, I examined this rather crappy print and can not see any evidence of brake equipment. She seems to be stripped to the bones. I figured the "MoW" car was the portable substation but wasn't sure.

Re: SN 2307 at Mulberry
Bill and Friends, Actually I can't. This picture and what it implies is completely new to me. I can fill in some details about the car itself. SN 2307 was from SN series 2301-2328, purchased from the

SN 2307 at Mulberry
Folks: Here is 2307 being rebuilt at MULBERRY. Garth I'm sure can fill in the details. There is a flat motor in the background along with what looks to be some kind of MoW car. ~Bill Shippen

2316 and the 441
Robert Larkin photographed 441 at Marysville in 1947. Note 2316 has just been patched with the WP logo on the door still intact.

Re: Electric and Wagons
How cool is that ! The Electric Lock for the switch on the mainline was D28 .... That applies to both mainline switches at the cross-over south of the depot at Marysville. wrote:

Re: CCT #6
Thanks for posting. Personally, I think this one more than the original version; to me it looks much more "solid" and screams "heavy-duty traction". Dan Lee, San Jose
