I have been enjoying learning about the North Shore line recently. Though this video is not SN related, the footage came from WRM and is in full color.
Do you agree with the assertion at the end that the North Shore is the greatest interurban? The SN has to be in the top 10 for sure

According to Swett's SACRAMENTO NORTHERN (p. 200), "The mainline between East Nicolaus and Alicia was abandoned on October 15, 1958." The text does not say when East Nicolaus itself was abandoned, but says on page 204 that Sankey (WP crossing) to East Nicolaus (9.8 miles) was being operated as a branch. A separate list of abandonments in my collection shows East Nicolaus south to Catlett was abandoned on January 11, 1965. Catlett to Sankey followed on January 5, 1972.
