Old style Impeller for W35b. (Westerbeke Part#034440) FREE for the postage.
I have an old style raw water impeller, new, never installed, for a Westerbeke 35b(actually used in several different engines and generators). ?Westerbeke part# 34440. ?It's the impeller, paper gasket, and glycerine lubricant. ?No screws.
?
I ordered the wrong one a few years ago and never got around to returning it. ?It's free if anyone can use it.
?
This impeller only fits the old style raw water pump(#33636) which uses a paper gasket. ?Many pumps have been replaced by a newer version pump with a rubber 0-ring gasket, that needs impeller kit #48500

I was under the impression that the actual impeller is the same for both the old-style and new style pumps.? I have a new replacement pump in a box as a spare and the impeller looks identical to the old pump version.? I've been sourcing Johnson impellers rather than through Westerbeke.? The last Johnson impeller I bought came with both a paper gasket and an O-ring.?? I did a little research online and it appears the impellers are slightly different - the 48500 kit impeller has a slightly larger inside diameter (0.7 mm).? The drawing didn't give the diameter of the pin. ? ?I stand corrected.? Dave Castor Port Angeles, Wash 1986 S32 On Wed, Mar 19, 2025 at 1:29?PM David Castor via <dpcastor=[email protected]> wrote:
