I was under the impression that the actual impeller is the same for both the old-style and new style pumps.? I have a new replacement pump in a box as a spare and the impeller looks identical to the old pump version.? I've been sourcing Johnson impellers rather than through Westerbeke.? The last Johnson impeller I bought came with both a paper gasket and an O-ring.??
