Cost of insurance survey?
Wondering what folks are paying for an insurance survey these days? ? I was just quoted $32 per foot which seemed a bit steep from my last one but that was 10 years ago.

How old is your rigging? If it¡¯s original then you should be looking at replacement particularly if going offshore. Stemballs etc. maybe in the same shape as the turnbuckles. Mine was 25years old

Do you have wire or rod? If you have rod I would suggest you use the ¡°Navtec¡± fittings from Hayn. They are the only ones that the ball tips fit into the spreaders properly¡ don¡¯t ask

I¡¯ve replaced mine but offhand I don¡¯t recall the thread pitch. Measure the stud diameter and contact rigrite. They¡¯ll be able to provide the proper turnbuckle. Opt for chromed bronze not
