My wife, who is much shorter than I am, has a habit of sliding the companionway hatch back far enough for her to leave the cabin. When I leave after her I invariable hit my head on the partially open hatch.?
Hitting my head on things is one reason I don¡¯t wear a hat. Fortunately I remain endowed with a full set of functional hair follicles.

Thanks for the chuckle, when I had my 362 I constantly whacked my baseball cap covered head on the companion way door frames. Good times! Happy to hear I¡¯m not the only one!

I love my 362 but one persistent issue is that the headroom through?the doorways into the fwd and aft staterooms is about 5'11"-6' which is 1" lower than the top of my head.? Somehow I still haven't learned to duck and so I hit my head all the time - I think because it is often just out of my sightline with a hat on.
Those of you with larger Sabres especially 426 and 452/6, what is your headroom through the doorways?
Thanks.
