SHARI doesn't recieve with ASL3

I thought I would try ASL 3 and I like the interface. I was able to program the SHARI, but it will only transmit, it doesn't receive. I looked in simpleUSB and there is nothing there when I transmit, its simply not hearing me. It works great with Hamvoip so I'm assuming there is something up with ASL3, has anyone else seen this issue?

In simpleusb, did you set CTCSSFROM to 'no'?

It was set to USBINVERT and I changed it to no. Since I turned it on tonight its not even transmitting so I'm not sure whats going on. The serial port is set as default, but I'm not sure if its correct or what the setting would be. This is a PIhat so it sits on the GPIO ports and not in a USB port. I'm able to make changes in the sa818-menu and it writes ok so I assume the port is ok.

BINGO!
?
Thanks for posting that little CTCSSFROM tidbit for the SHARI pi-hat. I too was attempting to load an ASL image onto a Pi-4 and was having issues. I knew that it had something to do with the SimpleUSB interface, but wasn't sure where to look.
?
Thanks, very much!

I never bothered writing anything with sa818-menu program on ASL3, so that program just comes up with default blank values on my node. However, the radio was programmed already in HAMVOIP. The only thing I needed to do was to to go into 'Node Settings/AllStar Node Setup/Update Node XXXXXX/Interface Tune CLI' and set From CTCSS to 'no'.

I wanted to update this thread. I was able to resolve the issue by trying another SD card and downloading the very latest image from ASL. I did try updating the image I downloaded a couple weeks ago, but it still wasn't working. The green light on the PIhat was steady and not blinking.
I reloaded the image and set CTCSS=NO and it just worked! Strange, but true. My node is on the air and working fine. Thanks Steve for your help with this!
