Try the Parrot+ server 55553 I thought that¡¯s the one he did try, and the one I mentioned was sending out a continuous 1K tone?

Here is what I found.? When you first start the ASL3 installation. it automatically installs updates but does not reboot.? Without the reboot, you get the connection failed message.? So do a reboot

I am trying to program the frequency on a SHARI pihat. It's a pi4 I loaded ASL3 Tried without and then added the console=serial0,115200 to the end of cmdline.txt Verified bt was disabled in config.txt

I used the repeaterbook app and checked the frequency I wanted to use and 5 MHz up and down within 25 miles of my site. All good here.

As a new ham, myself.... other than listening to your ALSN frequency with no PL tone and checking repeaterbook in your area, is there any other thing we should do to stay out of the "hardway" column ?

It's worth mentioning that 446.1 mHz is indeed an active repeater input in some places. Someone in Brooklyn who had a SHARI and didn't change it's frequency found that out the hard way once.

My Yaesu DR-1X automatically shifts the TX frequency by 600 kHz at 446.100 MHz until I change it.? Check and make sure yours is set to simplex.? ?CONFIG>RPT SHIFT>SIMPLEX
