SAE power amps certainly are not Marantz "wanna be's" and have their own
identity, looks and sound.
I have owned a couple of different models of both over the years and
prefer SAE power amps. Mention
SAE and most certainly you will get some strong likes and
dislikes......They are rather hard to work on
though, I've given up on my blown SAE, one of these days I'll send it to
Mike Zuccaro to get it fixed.
Anyone else owns an SAE 5000 noise reduction, still a popular item 20
years later.
