OMG, what a great trip down memory lane!
Early 60s I made my first mail-order acquisition for a couple of toggle switches and 3 panel indicators, red, green and yellow from Lafayette. It took WEEKS! I bugged my poor mom to death everyday. She explained the whole check clearing process and how first orders always take a long time.
so many technologies came and went; vinyl, reel to reel, 8-track, cassette＃ Wow!
