Yesterday was agreeably productive, as I removed the guides without trauma, coached by a veteran mechanic pal and enabled by just a few tools. Warmed the head over a period of 3 hours in our lightly used full-sized Weber BBQ with thermometer pegged steadily near 120 Deg C., supported it on a perch of substantial mass, and knocked the guides out using carefully sized drift and large hammer. Thanks once more to all who offered guidance. Count me among those who are able, if you please.
