Bill, that engine "just" fits on the turntable doesn't it? As for trains as toys, I guess we all started somewhere with either Flyer, Lionel or Marx. I still have all my Lionel from my youth. Can't beat the sentimentalism?of this stuff! It's also been said we have to grow old but nobody says we have to grow up!

Going on an aging and increasingly frail memory, I don't think the SV had any turntables, so these got turned on wyes (land being fairly cheap in eastern Oregon).
