Bill, that engine "just" fits on the turntable doesn't it? As for trains as toys, I guess we all started somewhere with either Flyer, Lionel or Marx. I still have all my Lionel from my youth. Going on an aging and increasingly frail memory, I don't think the SV had any turntables, so these got turned on wyes (land being fairly cheap in eastern Oregon).
