plastic sheet

I thought this was a good deal for plastic sheet. It is going to be the concrete floor in my engine house. It has a slight texture on 1 side but is smooth on the other side.

I have no experience with ABS sheets (yet.)
?
This seems like a reasonable price for 0.0625 thick material.

It sort of looks like fiberglass reinforced panel (FRP) that used in rooms that need to be easy to, and kept clean.

I was thinking the same as well. Can get the plastic sheets cheap at Home Depot, etc

I just checked the Home Depot site.? If you want something 1/16" thick, and at least the size quoted here, Home Depot seems to cost more.

Ben sort of goofed that the plastic sheet I referenced on eBay and bought looked like the same white plastic sheets that you would see on the bathroom wall of an old dive bar. Well, after using it I am almost sure Ben is right! This material is a bit thinner than what I have seen to be used in said dive bar bathrooms…… I think there was some large drops leftover from a job someplace that someone cut up and started selling.

?

It does not matter to me it worked for what I needed it for. I have the pieces painted now (Tru Color Soo Line Off? White) to knock the shine off and look more like concrete. So far just enough of the rail sticks up to run on but I have not final tested with powered locos yet.

?

Good enough.

The building is a O Scale Korber trolley barn. I have had it for many years. As shown in this photo is the bare white plastic. The pieces are painted now. I use Tru Color TCP157 Soo Lines off white. If you have seen in my YouTubes that is what I have used on my other places of concrete. Just the natural dust in my basement and layout use will make it less than perfect. With the exception of the 2 pieces touching the outer walls I am not currently planning on attaching them. Just letting them float. Makes them removable to clean the track if needed

?

Track is code 100. I made the PRSL sign years ago on my printer to change from the Erie logo. A new sign is planned that will be 3D.
