Erroneous rumor about 3D Central and wheelset

I have heard from a few sources that 3D Central has been selling 100 ton roller bearing trucks with 36¡± wheels that do not conform to NASG and NMRA standards.
?
THIS IS COMPLETELY ERRONEOUS!
?
There is confusion because Buckeye and 100 ton roller bearing trucks with 36¡± are being fabricated and sold by others. ?Apparently the wheel sets that come with them are not code 100, are not gauged correctly, and maybe non-conforming in other ways. ?I say ¡®apparently¡¯ because I have not seen these products in person.
?
I am working with 3D Central to have 100 ton roller bearing trucks with NMRA RP-24, code 100 36¡± wheel sets to sold with my covered hoppers. ?I have provided SHS drawings, NMRA standards, and sent two wheel sets that were imported earlier this year that comply with above. ?My understanding is that 3D Central will not sell trucks to be sold along with my cars before I approve the final design.
?
Please ignore this unfortunate rumor.
Thanks,
?

Somehow I confused track codes and wheel codes. ?When I wrote code 100 I really meant code 110.

Hello Ben,
?
code 110 ist what the wheel flanges of the first run of the AF Cylindrical Hopper were dimensioned, right? The rumor you quoted sounds as if someone has re-run the first batch of those hopper trucks without regarding the faults of those constructions.
It's time for scale trucks with correct dimensions. When I took those AF hopper trucks apart I ended with a "collection" of springs and other parts that refuse to get reassembled. At the moment I don't see a reliable source for trucks that are sprung and balanced and don't break your fingers if you try to assemble them.

Greetings, Hans
?
P.S. One of those delrin bearings also silently disappeared... ?
