GP35 Coupler Pocket & filler

Hello,?
?
Not sure how I ended up with an odd number of GP 35 Coupler Pocket And Pilot Fillers. I went through all of the emails I kept of orders from Shapeways but did not find the one showing an order of one.? Nor did find all of the emails to account for the other 4 pairs that I do have.? ?
?
Does anyone have an extra GP 35 Coupler Pocket And Pilot Filler that would be willing to sell?? Even a pair to go along with the single?, as I have an decorated GP35 that will need a pair.??
?
Thanks
?

Funny you should ask. I am going for my first test print right NOW…. This one will have a bottom plate removal and coupler centering.

Looks like a copy of my design. Way to go, Bill. There used to be a time when S scalers worked together. I guess it’s the Wild West now. Have 3D printer. Will copy.?

Seems it would be nice to have a place on the NASG website to share stl files?

Edited

I will not share my STL files, especially in an unregulated form, because there will be unscrupulous copying without compensation of my intellectual property.

I would gladly share stl files and/or the solid models to NASG members to help a fellow modeler.

FYI .stl files are intellectual?properties. Unless the originator of the file chooses to make them part of the public domain, use or reuse of them can present liability issues for the NASG or anyone misusing?them. I would recommend that the NASG not get involved with file sharing unless they have a legal review first. Once out there, they would be nearly impossible to control even if restrictions?were placed on the?use of the file (i.e., no commercial use, etc.)

The person or persons who generated the file likely spent a great deal of time generating the file and I for one would not grant uncontrolled?use of my files.

The 3D models I have created, 3 freight car kits, an autorack conversion kit, and several detail and functional parts to enhance or fix, are for sale from 3D Central Trains or from me, Benn Central Shops. ?

All of these projects came about because I wanted something that was not available or to fix a prod deficiency, and took the extra step to share with other S train modelers.

Well stated Ben!? Patents, copyrights exist for a reason!

Another opinion:

If you yourself are intending to use your STL files commercially -- or license their commercial use -- then you should not freely license them. But if not, then why not offer them with a CC-NC license ().
Others could then make use of them, which is certainly a good thing for the hobby which does no harm to your pocketbook and some good to your ego. Any potential commercial user would have to be very stupid to use them without a license from you as the product would soon turn up in the NASG Product Gallery and you would be able to collect royalties.
