The building is a O Scale Korber trolley barn. I have had it for many years. As shown in this photo is the bare white plastic. The pieces are painted now. I use Tru Color TCP157 Soo Lines off white. If you have seen in my YouTubes that is what I have used on my other places of concrete. Just the natural dust in my basement and layout use will make it less than perfect. With the exception of the 2 pieces touching the outer walls I am not currently planning on attaching them. Just letting them float. Makes them removable to clean the track if needed

?

Track is code 100. I made the PRSL sign years ago on my printer to change from the Erie logo. A new sign is planned that will be 3D.

Looks great Bill.

What code rail are you using there?? Is that the 138 or something smaller?

Ben sort of goofed that the plastic sheet I referenced on eBay and bought looked like the same white plastic sheets that you would see on the bathroom wall of an old dive bar. Well, after using it I am almost sure Ben is right! This material is a bit thinner than what I have seen to be used in said dive bar bathrooms…… I think there was some large drops leftover from a job someplace that someone cut up and started selling.

?

It does not matter to me it worked for what I needed it for. I have the pieces painted now (Tru Color Soo Line Off? White) to knock the shine off and look more like concrete. So far just enough of the rail sticks up to run on but I have not final tested with powered locos yet.

?

Good enough.

Railmaster a few RS2 / RS3 kits coming up

开云体育

Folks I am getting another lot of diesels etc cast now, and will include just a few Rs2 / Rs3’s in it, as we have not done these versions for many years now. Had a few inquiries for them about 12 months ago but could not get them done then. OK, it will be just a very short run that won’t be repeated. So let’s know PRONTO if you want one! Price US $399 incl mech (plus postage). Regards John@...

Yes,
My build has many more MP details than the HO model. For example, turret cover, correct direction cab roof hatches and high tender light to mention a just a few.?

S vs HO

Here are some photos of an HO loco I just delivered to a client. This model has 16 heavly modified scratch made details to make this basic USRA store bought brass model Missouri Pacific. Even the decals are custom made down to the correct builders plate.?

My S scale build of this model is sitting next to it. The client who is a major brass collector in the US assured me that this is the only model of this loco in HO. ?Also until someone can prove me wrong mine is the only one in S scale

Model Train Storage Cabinet........(for sale)

Edited

Gents.........
?
Today's offering is for a custom made (by me and train buddy Earl) storage cabinet with perfect measurements for S scale trains of all kinds except narrow gauge.? With minor modifications, the Sn3 or On3 or O folks could probably make it work for them.? High quality plywood with moveable shelves, handles, clips for op session cards, foam bumpers in back, etc.? I call it a "minimum footprint staging yard" and that describes its purpose and function very well.?
?
Footprint is 20" x 36".? Height is 49".? Space between shelves is 5-1/2" .? ?Holds 112? 40-foot? S scale cars.
?
Too big to be shipped.? Must pick it up in Los Altos, CA.? Not fragile.? SUV, van or pickup will work.
?
Make me smile with your best reasonable offer.? When I show my teeth, hop in your vehicle and come get it.
?
Thanks.................Smiling Ed L.

I have need of a reputable, reliable, and affordable decal print house. I'm asking for your recommendations, both positive ("I love this company") and negative ("Stay away from them"). I have designed several sheets of decals for both my personal layout and custom projects. I've done some looking on the web and am surprised by the print cost ($40 per sheet!). I don't need them designed, just printed!
?
And please don't say, "Buy your own printer, decal sheets, and make your own." I've done that in the past, with very mixed results, and don't want to fool with it anymore. I'm spending my time designing them, let someone else who knows their stuff print them.

Thanks!

I just checked the Home Depot site.? If you want something 1/16" thick, and at least the size quoted here, Home Depot seems to cost more.
