Re: For Sale, various cars and parts

The wheels need to be pulled. ?Spreading the axle at the insulator will cause the axles to bind.

Re: plastic sheet

I was thinking the same as well. Can get the plastic sheets cheap at Home Depot, etc

Re: For Sale, various cars and parts

And almost all of the ones with scale wheels are the wrong gauge.? Ben's bolsters fix that issue as well.? Alternatively, you can modify them a bit and use SHS/MTH or AM trucks.?

Re: Iron Rail & Downs

All 10 of those in one haul.? Wow.

Re: plastic sheet

It sort of looks like fiberglass reinforced panel (FRP) that used in rooms that need to be easy to, and kept clean.

Re: plastic sheet

I have no experience with ABS sheets (yet.)

I thought this was a good deal for plastic sheet. It is going to be the concrete floor in my engine house. It has a slight texture on 1 side but is smooth on the other side.

I hope your surgery was successful and you can look forward to many more years of picking up hefty S scale PRR M1as and I1sa. If not, I'm pretty sure these models are available in N scale:)?

Although there are some differences in cab weights and interior alignment between the SHS SW-1 and the other EMD switchers.

Also a good reason to save/then weather/ then place around the repair area all those plastic? Rex wheels!? I checked around my weed grown engine house areas and found two pair of the Bettendorf style trucks--it seems to me one was a Dahlman truck however?? Didn't see any Andrews unless they're really deep in the weeds!

Hi Steve,

The 14th photo and its associated text on this page on my web site:

states how I did it. It is indeed difficult to do. Presuming that the SW8 and NW2 cabs are identically attached to the frame.
