Justin: One thing that could make this cheaper would be to buy HO figures and paint them as children. If you make a few cars as a " Summer Camp Special " or a "Ski Special "? for a? wintertime Scene then throw in a few adults in S Scale? that would cheapen the purchase considerably as Artista and other S Scale figures are pretty pricey now per figure. I have seen lots of HO scale figures in quantity on eBay and other places for figures at a cost of under $1 each that will need painting or re-painting to make them look like kids.? Good Luck Bill

Re: FOR SALE

The Baldwin D kit has been SOLD

Re: Looking For Passenger Figures

I have wound up purchasing them from many different sources as no one seems to have enough to fill a car. Sometime you might use the same person more than once and repaint it different colors.?

Does anyone know of a source or place to purchase sitting figures? Looking for some for a passenger car project.?

Re: FOR SALE

Scratch the word Frame after Baldwin. it's making things confusing. The kit never included a separate frame. The kit was for the body only. No trucks, no trolley poles, no bells,
no motors.

FOR SALE

Now that the B&A tender sold I have two more items that I will never finish. One of ?PBL's Westside Lumber white metal log car's
and one of Model Railroad Warehouse's ?"Red Ball" Baldwin Class D frame kits.
?
The kits are $39.00 each plus shipping

Re: Pullman-Standard PS-2 3215CuFt Covered Hopper - Tangent Scale Models

Ted,

I'm not really up on covered hoppers, but my understanding is that the SHS was an early variant of the 2893 cuft PS-2. These 3215's, 10% larger, came some years after.

Could you do it without the triangle opening? I'd take 3 if you could.

Bill, do you have any S-Scale conversion kits for the northern or the Hudson American flyer steam conversions? If so, it¡¯s not for me it¡¯s for a friend and I will give you his contact information and you guys can work it out. He is truly looking for some of those conversions for his AF stuff.

[Edited Message Follows]

Anyone that needs something in? particular in S Scale? ? I have decided that my entire collection needs to be sold including new unused bench work and some sections of 3 former layouts. I have almost anything that was prototypical from most Northeastern / New England railroads during the period 1920 through 1955 all in S Scale. This includes about 250 Northeastern and Kinsman kits, and kits from all the major manufacturers along with about 150 SHS products and about 100 PRS kits left, trucks, buildings and building kits, bridges built and in kit form, many Walthers kits, much flex track mostly code 100 and 125, and some code 83 rail. Some very rare stuff - 0ver 250 locomotives both brass wood and SSL&S kits and scratch built by many of S scales former master builders. about 55 cars built by Bill Boucher 10 by Jim Konas and others. Also many many detail parts. Easier for me to ask what you are looking for specifically than list what I actually have. Please contact me by Private email right here on I o groups s scale. Please realize it may take me some time to get back to you due to still working 5 days a week. I will reply but only have so many hours a week to do so. This is mostly all SCALE not much hi-rail. All AF is junky bodies for conversion to scale.
Thank you all

Well apparently this method of my "shotgun" approach Is not working well since I have been inundated with emails all using the same subject header a reply to my post, and since most everyone wants to see what they are purchasing and request photos which I am terrible at doing BTW - looks like I need to do this differently. SO I will take photos of small?
"lots" of cars" and post the photos here in separate messages such as others have done. Looks like this will take years for me to complete doing.? I am amazed no one wants original Kinsman kits? especially the passenger cars or Ambroid snow plow kits.. SO OK I will now try the hard way for me to list all this stuff. Please if responding? Change the subject line for
your message to reflect what you want so I can find your message later on to reply to you.

ThankS

Re: Who done it?

All this Berkshire talk made me get out stuff.? Here are what look like 2 NKP Berk kits, one sheet brass boiler and one cast.? Does anyone have kits or part built ones that they could show us?

I agree with Tom and Luther, when I saw the weathering I was pretty sure another one of Frank¡¯s builds¡
Don Thompson?

Re: ACF 70 Ton Hopper

Great work, Mike. Where did you get the trucks from? They remind me to the ones of my SHS cars but I wouldn't strip one of them for a new model. And I have no resource to get those trucks new. What grows as a problem bigger every day.

The railway I model - Essex Terminal Railway in Ontario has two of them.? I've already cut out the middle and most of the roof, and am just waiting on doing the ballast chutes.
