Tariffs.........etc.
The good news, relatively speaking, is that *S* miling Ed L.? is not affected by any tariffs -- except perhaps to/from California.? All his RR stuff is already in the USA.? More photos coming

Re: Mopac AM Baldwin S12 steam era
From the Yoder webpages, it appears the MP really liked them, as they had the second-largest number after PRR.

Re: SSL&S boiler front
The boiler front for the Pennsy K5 was 90" diameter, same as on the PRR I1
decapod. Substantially larger than those on the K4's and I'm not sure what
diameter those were in actuality.

Re: Who done it?
Looks like ssls had 2 designs that could work at 88". One was for (among
other engines) the AF Hudson conversion, and the other was for the PRR K5
conversion.

Re: Who done it?
That would be great. Claud as I remember made some boiler fronts that could be modified by filing. Especially the heavy and light Mikado but it's been a long time and memory could be faulty.

What articles were in the Rollie Heralds? I skimmed a couple of issues. I recall a construction article by John Porter, I think.
