Well what attracted me to S was that it was good size for building structures especially scratchbuilt in. I had been In N which operated great but wasn't happy with my building results. cheers

Charles- The spur gear on the axle has split -- most common likelyhood.? Some of these gears were made with a poor quality plastic.? The NASG site has a section on the replacement of the gear. NWSL

Buzzing transformers can often be quieted down. First make certain the transformer is held tightly in the case--check the mounting screws. Second possibility is the coil is vibrating on the laminate
