Walking To New Orleans

Recently I came across a recording of Walking To New Orleans, whereby Neil is accompanied by the Fisk University Jubilee Singers. This song is on a Fats Domino tribute album called Goin' Home. According to the sleevenotes, this is a live recording from the ReactNow benefit concert from September 10th 2005. According to the great Sugar Mountain website, this recording is from the Farm Aid Festival on September 18th 2005. Does anyone know which source on this recording is right?

Sugar Mountain shows that the song was performed twice; 10 September 2005 (React Now) and 18th September 2005 (Farm Aid). Sugar Mountain doesn't provide non official song cross referencing so there is no reason not to belive the Fats Domino tribute lines notes

You are correct. Sorry about that. I’ve updated sugarmtn. Thanks for pointing that out.

Hi Tom,
A Audacity comparison shows that the 2005-09-10 ReactNow performance is nearly identical with the released version on the 2007 Tribute-CD (both also play in sync without any adjustments), whereas the 2005-09-18 Farm Aid performance is e.g. considarable longer.
Another hint: The harmonica outro at the end of the song of the CD release and 2005-09-10 are identical, 2005-09-18 is clearly different.

Maybe you should react to the post on /g/Rust/topic/walking_to_new_orleans/110494348

Thanks for your deep dive into this Gordon!
I really like the Live Recording Summary tab on Sugar Mountain because it provides a thorough overview of live Neil recordings on officially released albums and DVDs. Invaluable resource!
