The book is beautiful; it has a soft leather-like cover, and is filled with amazing stuff. Although I was disappointed to find no text within the book.
A book with no words? Maybe we download the words later.

Who needs words with soft leatherette on the outside?

A few new songs, several re-releases, no text, a folding box, AND fancy cover.

Humbug!

Neil.

Just had an e-mail from Amazon to say the Archives have been sent [DVD set]. Hopefully to me.

Now where's that postman?

Richard

Are you kidding? I think the book sounds epic. According to Archives Guy on TW yesterday, the book:

"It is a visual companion to the set and apart from page after page of photos, documents, lyrics, memorabilia has database information, tape references, detailed track, musician, credits descriptions and more. Think of a 236 page booklet inside an old record album and you've got the idea."

!!?!?! A 236 page booklet inside an old record album sounds like heaven (slightly distorted) (ryan adams song lyric there) to me. I can't wait.

And seriously. COME ON RUSTIES! WE HAVE CONFIRMATION THAT THE ARCHIVES ARE OUT THERE IN THE WORLD! Where's the party? What the hell?
