Hello!!! I will be running a zoom for New Years Eve. To get all the time zones, it could start... well, what would be a good time for our Australian friends??

the thing is... no WAY can *I* sit all day on the computer, and if i start it up, it shuts down in 40 minutes if not active. The trick is for folks to come on and message a few people you know and invite them in. If everyone just 'checks in' and leaves if no one is there, you most likely won't see anyone at all.

If we have interested people to just say, yeah, i will keep my computer zooming from This oclock to that oclock (like i will say, 7pm to 10pm EST for me), we may get more folks involved.

I certainly do NOT want to take you away from family and friends, but MANY of us are not involved, for whatever reason, and this gives the opportunity to chat for a bit with other Rusties, at least.

AND... play music (if you want to know how to sound good, ask and i will either show you, tell you, or find someone who knows your operating system to help)
