First off, I agree with PD Larson about unnecessary tweaking.
Unless it's something that drastically needs to be altered, I prefer
the original recording; of course, there are exceptions.
Secondly, I completely missed FA tonight. I am in the midst of
working 32 hours out of a 40 hour period, so I just had time to
go home, eat something, crash for four hours, and now I am back
at work. A friend of mine was going to record it, but if he
didn't I will be groveling for it later!
And I seem to remember a Farmaid from around five years ago or
so (it was probably either '96, '97, or '98) where Willie sang
the Beach Boys' "Warmth of the Sun". I thought I had it on
video somewhere but I haven't been able to find it. If anyone
has this, consider this an official grovel from a huge Neil/Willie/
Beach Boys fan with a lot to trade! Either audio or video would
be great.
Lastly, does anyone have any of the current Beck shows on CD-R?
Or has anyone seen him on this current tour? I would also love
to get some from his early '99 tours. I have one show from
NYC that is awesome (1/10/99, I think) but it's on cassette. I
would like to get some more of those someday if any of you are
