We were fortunate enough last year to spend a couple of weeks in apartments in Barcelona and Madrid. Our first trip to Spain - well, a trip to Majorca when I was 18, but I don't remember too much of that trip ;-)
In Barcelona, you must visit the Sagrada Famillia. This is without doubt the craziest and most beautiful building I've EVER seen! Gaudi must have had some crazy things going on in his mind ;-) AND! It is still INCOMPLETE!!!
As far as Football stadia are concerned, we went to visit the Santiago Bernabau in Madrid as opposed to the Nou Camp. Wow, what a place, and what a trophy room they have. Celtic are quite rightly proud to have beaten them in'67.
