"Slowly Burning" does sound very beautiful but ... Slowly Burning? Wha? I scanned Rust and I see it was a Buffalo Springfield era song but I don't remember this from the Buffalo Springfield box. What is this song??? Thanks for the link, hendrixnaz, the Amazon track samples are VERY EXCITING, OMFG!

You can listen to samples of ALL the Archives tracks here:
First impressions:
-The early stuff is definitely interesting. I'll Love You Forever and Hello Lonely Woman are stand-outs
-Down Down Down sounds like an acoustic demo of some kind
-Sell Out is a different version than what's circulated on various bootlegs, and is shorter (1:40), but it sounds killer anyway! Plenty of stinging lead guitar from Neil
-Slowly Burning, despite being an unfinished instrumental, sounds absolutely beautiful
-The Neil Young sessions version of Birds, while not as good as the one recorded with Crazy Horse, is great in its own right.
-The live version of Nowadays Clancy Can't Even Sing sounds killer
-All of the Riverboat tracks sound absolutely AMAZING, especially Sugar Mountain, The Old Laughing Lady, Flying on the Ground is Wrong, I'ved Loved Her So Long, and Last Trip to Tulsa. Sadly, 1956 Bubblegum Disaster sounds like nothing more than a joke song, but the version of Whiskey Boot Hill sounds beautiful.
-The stereo mix of Oh Lonesome Me sounds terriffic
-Everybody's Alone is too awesome for words. It slays the CSNY Studio Archives boot version
-Dance Dance Dance is killer, as well, and rocks as only the Horse can. Definitely better than the version on Crazy Horse's debut album
-The main difference in the alt mix of Helpless? Strigns!
-It Might Have Been's quality isn't quite as good as the live albums in the Archives, but it sounds great anyway.
-the ATGR outtake version of Wonderin' sounds like a sibling of Criple Creek Ferry, complete with honky tonk piano. Another great outtake!
-The harmonies in the CSNY live tracks are, not surprisingly, beautiful
-See the Sky About to Rain sounds beautiful as well
-For those who haven't tried out the demo, the Harvest version of Dance, Dance Dance is just Neil and Graham on guitar and banjo, respectively; and the Harvest session versions of Bad Fog and Journey From the Past should have definitely dound a spot on that album.
