Stick 230 IOS Bluetooth Stopped Working
After several weeks of success the Bluetooth connectivity with my iPhone stopped.? I had been on FW 1.1 and decided to try the latest firmware (1.9?).? After successfully flashing the device still no Bluetooth connectivity.
Any ideas?? I miss the use of the Antscope features in the field. Thanks Randy N4TDT |

Version 14 and version 19 were created using different software (compiler) versions.
I can't reproduce the problem you describe on a Windows 10 and 11 PC.
Alas, I do not have the opportunity to check the behavior of the program on a PC with Windows 7.

Hi. Versions of FlashTool under 19 are not recommended.

If the analyzer does not enter bootloader mode automatically, it can be done manually. This is not a bug. Maybe in the settings of your OS there are restrictions on interactions with HID devices connected via USB.
To do this, simultaneously with the power button, press the F button. The analyzer screen will flash.
Then connect the analyzer to the PC, run FlashTool and update the firmware. |

It is worth noting that the user calibration algorithm in the AA-600/1000/1400 analyzers differs from the algorithm implemented in the Zoom and Stick analyzers.
For AA-600/1000/1400 the following rules apply:
1. The user needs to set the frequency range in which the calibration will be performed.
2. If the user performs a measurement outside this range, the calibration will not work.
3. Calibration applies only to graphical functions (SWR chart, R X, Smith chart). For "SWR", "All parameters" no calibration is applied.
4. To view the numerical parameters of the values, taking into account the calibration in any graphical function, press the F + 1 buttons.

I too had problems with the Stick 230 connecting over Bluetooth. I find that I have to activate "Location" on my Android phone and Tablet (both Samsung devices) for the connection to work. The bluetooth connection problem re-appears if I subsequently disable "Location" on the phone/tablet. Hope that helps 73 G0SBN |

Hi Peter,
I had the 230 Stick but git the Pro later to handle 70cm. Here¡¯s what I¡¯d suggest. Use a PC to connect via usb cable supplied with the Stick. Just reflash the latest firmware from the RE website for that model. Their software for doing this works via the Internet very smoothly. Yiu should be able to change the settings page to the correct Region and so forth. See if this helps you get the BT connection to your Android device again. 73, Frank K4FMH |
