Re: AA-650 Zoom with AntScope2

If the OSL calibration procedure is performed in the AA-650 Zoom, then when the analyzer is connected to AntScope2, the program will ignore the calibration. The program takes raw data from the analyzer.

Can I ask a really stupid question on this topic, if you calibrate the analyser prior to connecting, by whatever means, to a device with antscope running does it not use the data when plotting the chart or does it ignore i??

Kindest regards

That doesn¡¯t match up with my Antscope 2. Go to ¡°Settings¡± on lower left corner of 1st page. You should see three tabs after clicking on the settings button. The 3rd tab from the left is Cable¡±. Stu,

The Cable tab that you see under Settings have nothing to do with calculating Cable Loss.? They are used so that AntScope2 can add or subtract a transmission cable length from the calculations.?? This is typically used when you are measuring at the shack end of a transmission line and want to know what the readings would be at the other end.?
