Pi4 Pilinbpq Ports

N3MEL - Glenn

Hello.
?
I Install a clean copy of Pilinbpq on a new Pi4 running 64bit Bookworm. The install was from the 73 Linux distro and seems to be working?
well except!
?
Two new issues.?
?
  1. AXIP MAP station take a long time to reconnect after a reboot they do finally connect. I have a 2nd AXIP port that handles my AREDN tcp connections it connects right away.. I had the same setup on the original pi as well.?
  2. Can not access the BPQ web server or telnet from outside of my network using?. This has to be some sort of permissions problem, if I start the original pi4 w/BPQ it connects fine. I have opened all the same ports on my network for the new pi. If you ping the??it resolves just fine.?
I can connect inside my network with no problem it is only from outside.
?
When I use a port checker 8008, 8015, 8017 all come back as Filtered.?
?
Near as I can tell there is no firewall or iptables running on the Pi.
?
Any thoughts would be greatly apparated
?
All the above ports list have been opened in the port forwarding section of my router as well, and rebooted.?
?
Thank you!

Hi Glenn,
?
Is your home IP udpated with the DDNS site so they're pointing at your IP??? Maybe your IP address got changed very recently
since it's dynamic.

Try this with both your IP and also your DDNS address, for all the ports you have forwarding thru your router:

What's your DDNS address?? Send it to my email if you want, I'll see if I can hit it from here.

N3MEL - Glenn

Jeff,
?
Everything looks good on the front, we I run a port checker it comes back with the 3 ports as TCP but filtered.?

Apologies for any grammar or spelling errors!

Does it come back as filtered when you point the port checker at your IP? It should show open or closed if your router is forwarding the ports. If it does, there must be some issue with the DDNS connection.

There are more appropriate channels, MUCH more convenient for the rest of us, than conducting a chat on a message board that blows up everyone’s email.

This issue could come up on other people's systems. It's what the mailing list is for.? If you don't like.all the emails, then maybe the group isn't for you

Plus, others can see the progress and chime in if they have a possible solution
