Yes, you're right.. you can install third party utilities or install the optional WSL sub-system on Windows10 to read/write Linux filesystems but my point is still valid for STOCK

There are tools that allow a an EXT4 file system to be viewed on a Windows PC for example
https://www.diskinternals.com/linux-reader/

uh NO! The files are not being erased and the SD card is NOT blank!
The "few" files that you can see are in the BOOT partition and it is
