Re: Internet Uptime Monitor for Pi?
Use conky for onscreen display and have it watch a text file that you make a bash script monitor for a ping return.?

Re: Internet Uptime Monitor for Pi?
Hi Bret, this is pretty complicated if you don't do the step instructions,? by step but I¡¯m running a OOKLA test every 15 minutes and those results are sent to a Grafana graph and then uploaded to my Google drive. ? It¡¯s really worth it to see jitter, ping and up and down. Ignore the areas of no data as the server was off for maintenance and also the flat spots....... the second image is of the last 6 months. de Spence M0STO Sent while portable! please excuse typos.

You should read the documentation for the application as it details how to go about this but it¡¯s as large as the OS supports you need to custom compile to the resolution for the Esp32 code?

Audio Output Adjustment for ALC?
I¡¯m running digital apps on a RPi4B Bullseye 32-bit, like WSJT, JS8CALL, PAT Winlink. How best to adjust ALC on my radio (IC-705) from the RPi? I¡¯ve heard of ALSA and Pulse Audio but am not sure those are what I want to try, or to adjust USB Output on my IC-705, or both?
Thanks for the help! Bret/N4SRN |

Re: SCU-17 Behind The Raspberry Pi?
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýTry this: ?? - disconnect the SCU-17's USB cable from your Rpi ?? - open a terminal session on your Rpi and run the command "dmesg".? You should see the final part of the Rpi boot up details.? Recognize the final lines from that output of where that output was completed. ?? - re-connect the SCU-17's USB cable to your Rpi ?? - Run the command "dmesg" and at the bottom, you should see details about the SCU-17.? If you don't see anything, check your USB cable, etc. ?? - Run the command "aplay -l" and "arecord -l" to show the learned sound devices on your Rpi.? Send us the output of those two commands ????? - If your system doesn't have aplay / arecord installed, install the "alsa-utils" package with "sudo apt install alsa-utils" --David KI6ZHD On 07/16/2022 02:52 PM,
