I had a thought about daisy-chaining a few utilities to make a Pi-FM APRS tracker.? I have not tested this yet and I am sure that there will be problems with this many links, but has anyone done something similar to this or have any thoughts?

This would be the setup:
digital mode encoder-->soundcard TNC-->teewav-->pifm_sstv-->transmit
