The pigate project was discontinued some time ago and I confirmed
it's over with Mark back on 2/19/25:

I don't know what the licensing terms were with Mark's PIGate code
but unless someone is willing to take over it's development and it's
legal/blessed to do so, it would be best to move on to some other
solution.? At this time, I'm not aware of any complete alternatives
that did what PiGate (client) and the PiGate RMS (server).
