DNS.? I doubt this is a matter of the storage medium and more of an
issue with different OSes with different configurations on the
different media:
?? - in a terminal window, run "sudo dmesg" and at the bottom, do
you see any errors around storage media errors?? Any other errors?
?? - When you say "SSD", how is it connected?? USB attached?? Who
makes the SSD?
?????? - PCI-e attached?? Who makes the SSD?? Who makes Who is the
PCIe adapter?? Is it running in PCIe gen2 or gen3 mode?? If Gen3,
put it back in Gen2 mode and compare
?? - Install smartmontools and run smartctl against your SSD drive.?
Do any of the various SSD attributes show high errors / pending
failures / etc?

Using a Pi-5 and 64 bit Bookworm.? Seems OK booting on
SD card.? Internet extremely slow booting on SSD.
Several attempts to make it work.? Latest was using SD card and
updating it.? Then write SD to SSD.? Switched to boot SSD.
Chromium seems to make it fail; it gives a timeout.? Then
rebooting from SD card lets Chromium work.
I use the Pineberry BOT to connect the SSD.? SSD is a Fikwot
FN501pro.
Any ideas what I should do?
