All,
Apparently, the Pi foundation changed the boot code in a later version of the Pi4 that now needs a certain version of the PiOS to boot.? I don't have a new Pi4, so am unable to diagnose it.
What I need to do is create a new PiGate image based upon the latest version of PiOS and have someone with a newer Pi4 test it.? Anyone want to try that?? Again, I'm not certain where the change was made.? This was only reported to me once a few months ago.
Living on my retirement means a lot less money available to buy test hardware.? :)

Hi all,Is PiGate v2.2 compatible with current Pi 4 hardware? ?I read a posting from Mark that earlier version of Pi 4 were working, but a more recent Pi 4 did not. ?That was at the beginning of 2021. ? However, he did not specify the version that did not work and I could not find any information that a new build had been made to fix the problem. ?We have some folks in our ARES - ACS group interested in building a few PiGates but are shy to buy the Pi until we know more and can get v2.2 working.Thank you,Asa ?JayW7TSC - Spokane County ARES - ACS Emergency Coordinator?Sent via radio waves
