I use KM4ACK's "build-a-pi" to setup my Raspberry Pi which has WSJT-X as part of the packages you can install. ?I'm looking to do a similar setup as you (QDX and Pi for operation) but am waiting on the QDX to get delivered before I can test it out.

I've got an old iPad that I use for the monitor/keyboard via VNC using the included Hotspot feature. Usually that's enough for me to do FT8 in the field, but I also have a folding bluetooth keyboard/trackpad that I can use if I expect to be doing more typing (e.g., JS8Call).
