The Jackson County Amateur Radio Association (JCARA) is hosting a Hamfest on November 11 (Friday) and 12 (Saturday).

What is a Hamfest?
?
* It is a gathering of amateur radio operators and others (from MS, AL, LA) that enjoy electronics and technology to meet, exchange ideas, and attend forums.
?
* It is also an opportunity to buy and sell new and used equipment.? This includes ham radios, CB radios, computers, monitors, coax cables, antenna, connectors, or anything that supports electronics new or old.
?
* Provides exposure to local and area businesses.
?
This is our once a year fundraiser to support our amateur radio club for next year¡¯s activities (RACES and repeater).
