Ah, that might be the answer then.
Yes, it is dumb version, so it means changing the encryption on the Pi side…which would break other VNC clients….

The Raspberry Pi OS images come with the "Real VNC"
server which supports encryption and stronger authentication
compared to legacy VNC servers.? You can either dumb down the
Rpi's VNC server or consider using the RealVNC client on your end
devices.? Since you're using an Amazon device which is heavily
restricted, RealVNC might not be on their app store:

This seems to be a function of that version of VNC I noticed. I
tried other VNC clients, with no issues. But I haven’t found a
solution either. I think it might be related to that Windows AD
line….

I use my RPI4 headless mode on my PC every

At this point, I am just going to step away and take a
break for a few days before I get too frustrated. I have
tried to use two different Kindle Fires, and my cell
phone with no luck. Right now I have been trying to get
it working on my Fire and I usually get the following
message:
ERROR!?
VNC Connection Failed!
Server did not offer supported security
type.?
Constant searches on Youtube and Google show a
lot of people having no trouble at all so i know it
works, just not for me YET. I am making a goof somewhere
I just need to figure out where.?
