Btw, for what it's worth, I've updated my Rpi amateur radio doc to
include various specs and details of the new board as well a new
feature sections like adding a variable speed fan, light sensor and
IR transmitter support, improved security hardening steps, etc.

released a new Raspberry Pi Zero named the "Zero 2 W".? It
essentially is the same as the Zero W but now has a four-core
processor similar to the Rpi 3 (not the 3+).? This means we now
have a much more modern processor design with four CPU cores
instead of one.? This does come at a power consumption cost but
it might be possible to disable some of the cores to lower the
power down.? Time will tell on what's possible but also being on
a newer CPU design, a lot more alternative OSes will become
available for this SBC:
