OMG. What a heated discussion your question can bring. There¡¯s a group that feels those radios do not belong in the US, others feel that it can work with lots of effort, others have no issues with them.?
I use a Pigate with an UV-5RE+. Adjust de levels as recommended by the documentation, stick to 1200 baud. Keep the radio volume very low. I keep the volume at the first hint of being able to hear it.?
