Welcome to RandomGram Nr. 2!
This will be a dual-session Fri/Sat UTC event: June 23rd @ 20:00-23:00 UTC and June 24th @ 02:00-05:00 UTC That is Friday afternoon/evening for most of us (Sat morning for the OC/AS region). You can operate during either session, or both sessions. It will be scored as a single event. New this time around... Score Confirmation. Whenever you submit logged groups you'll receive email confirmation of your current score: RX, TX and Total Points. You can submit additional groups any time throughout the event. Teams for Event #2. You have the option to take part in a team effort in support of your favorite manual key type: Straight Key, Bug or Cootie. Operating as a team member is no different than otherwise. Team scores will equal the sum of individual members' scores. If you plan to use one of these keys for the entire event you can sign up any time prior/during the event. (Future event will focus on key brands/models...). Just email your call sign and choice of key type to [email protected] Some reminders & operating hints: - A transmitted group earns 2-points; a received group is 1-point (if accurately transmitted, copied and submitted); - For maximum score, make sure to send a new code group with every contact; - For additional points you can log code groups exchanged between other stations; - You can work the same stations on the same band multiple times and exchange additional code groups.
