?Hi Randy,

SWL participants don't need to register ahead of time. Just submit the code groups they have copied over the air, and their call sign (or other identifier if they are not hams).

Great! He will also be helping the sending stations to get points if their QSO partners have not copied them correctly.

Thanks Drew!

Nice to see all the hams, who are already part of the game.
Will update my "WANTED" list accordingly.

Drew-san,

I guess I misunderstood about TEAMs.

I thought TEAMs would be a club name such as A1CLUB.

But those three TEAMs such as StrKey, Bug, Cootie are the only TEAMs now each of us can apply to belong to, am I right?

// HIRO, JJ1FXF

Hiro-san,

You can have a multi-op team, including a club. Let me know if you have several interested operators and I will set it up..

Thanks, Drew-san.

I'll ask you to set a multi-OP team when some more JA stations will participate to RG.

Tomorrow is the day!

GL, all.

Please add me to Team Straight Key if it is not too late. Thanks!

Ok, Matt-- you are on team StrKey

Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2nd RandomGram event!

If you logged any code groups during the event, including SWL, please send them to me or the RG Group owner address for processing. The transmitting stations will be grateful for the additional points.

Results are being updated as additional code groups are reported. TX scores can continue to increase as additional logged groups are submitted by other operators and the code groups verified as correct. You can see the latest results at the top of this thread HERE

Also note the Team Scores: Straight Key, Bug and Cootie.

This was the first real test of the Team option and it seemed to work pretty well. If you have any ideas for future teams let me know. I am thinking key mfrs (Bunnell, Vibroplex, etc.) possibly. But currently there are slots for a maximum of 9 teams. I guess I could change that if there is a compelling reason. Teams can also be used for any kind of multi-op setup. If you have something in mind for a team let me know for next event; maybe we can fit it in.

Here at AF2Z, got a late start due to storms. But 20 meters was open all evening, even during the late session. Got many points working Tom DF7TV, as you can see from his score.

The 3-hour split-sessions went pretty well, I think. But I'd like to know others' opinions. It was not the most convenient time frame for eastern US stations but did give a better chance for other geographic areas.

If you have any comments you can email them to me, or post them as followups to this message.

THANKS!

Drew/AF2Z
