Re: Procedural question on letter groups

Larry,

I print a hard copy of my TX list and cross off each group after I've sent it. Even then, I will occasionally wonder if I've forgotten to cross off a group that I've already sent.

But to answer your question... You can only get 2 points for transmitting a code group, no matter how many times you send it or how many other operators may log it. So, for maximum points you always want to transmit a new codegroup with each QSO. If you have any doubt about repeating a group just skip to the next one.

I'd like to understand something for the next RG event.? In the recent one, I had trouble dealing with the groups I'd sent (or hadn't sent).? I had my list of random groups in front of me.? But after I'd worked someone, I'd have trouble remembering which group I had sent.? So to make sure I didn't duplicate groups, I'd pick one farther down the list for the next qso.

Just to be clear, if I sent the same group twice by accident, would it still count for points or not?
