Ten Men and a Boy Sorting Lemons at Corona Foothill Lemon Company
This image is circa 1910. Sorting lemons is an all-male endeavor at this packinghouse. I wonder if the actual packing crew is also all-male. It's interesting that women were doing most of the sorting and packing at many packinghouses at this time, but a few were sticking with men, and only men, in these positions.
