Chuck, thanks for answering Bill. Interestingly, at one point, Culver City was alternating races for CJA jalopies with PRA hardtops. What makes it difficult to sort out is many of the same drivers appear in the results for both. And, yes, there were often disputes over how "stock" stock was.

The jalopies were the So Cal mainstays, while Central and Northern California primarily ran "Hardtops."
