I have this set and the original antenna mast.

I wanted to preserve the original mast, so I machined a simple adapter that allows the use of the ubiquitous AT271 American military pack set antenna.

It should not be difficult to find a friend with a lathe who can easily do this with a piece of brass rod stock.

AT271 masts are common, not expensive and a bit more rugged.

(Used with a pair of TRA3900s I used to have)

I read somewhere that you did change all transistors (with silicon ones ?) of your Larkspur A14 radio due to the well known tin-whiskers issues to germanium transistors.?

I own a nice looking, non-working A14 most probably due to the same transistors issues.

I love this radio and I would be very happy to make it working again and use on the air, despite the big substitution job involved.?
May I kindly ask you to help me in this connection ?

Which substitutive transistors should use in place of the germanium ones ? Did you change all transistors in the radio ?
