Thanks Peter & Richard for the information.
I was hoping that the answer would be no loading coil as that makes life much simpler. I do have another portable HF set that has a centre loaded whip with an adjustable loading coil so I wanted to confirm there was no similar arrangement on the 4021 before progressing the build.
