Hi Stijn,
I also have a BCC-39B, I really like the radio, excellent
reciever ,it sure puts out a good clean signal,I'm am going to buy
the VRQ-319 vehicular adapter from Mike at Combat radio soon to
install in my M151A2 jeep,or I might buy a Series III Landrover a
friend has for sale just to put radios in :-)
I had a long chat with Mike at CR today, he has been searching for
some time for the complete manual set for the BCC-39B and has as yet
had no luck.He has several VRQ-319 sets without the transceiver but
no ATU's for them. I am also looking for the ATU.
I have found out very little about the BCC-39, no history or when
and where they were fielded in service.I heard a story that a group
of the first BCC-39 went to US special forces, and were used for drug
interdiction ops in South America, but that hear say,
Do you or anyone else in the group have any more history on the rig?
I'll be sure to let you know if I see a control panel or ATU for
sale.
and its sure puts out a good clean signal
Cheers,

The BCC39B is my favourite fieldday station, lightweigt and lots

And now for the question:
With the BCC39B I've got the schematics, but I'm looking for a
full
service and operating manual (especially the chapter about the
control panel and it's communication protocol).
I'm also looking for a control panel, since I have only one panel
and
two sets.
And last but not least I'm looking for the vehicular antenna tuner,
type:
H.F.Vehicle ATU
ATU 3912
49815-100-00-01

If anyone can help me with some of these items, I would be very
happy!

Thank's for reading and
