Actually, according to the
Racal spec, the TA970H can have a supply
voltage between 14 and 32 volts? -? does it contain a regulator
to
supply 12 volts to the '967? If so, that suggests they may be using
the standard 934 battery. These have turned up on eBay in the last
few months, so they are around.
Actually, I think there is a regulator inside to supply the 967 with 12
Volts.
