How to limit the operational frequency of Syncal 30

Syncal 30 users/lovers,
?
I am
trying to ¡®demil¡¯ a Syncal 30 to operate within Ham bands.? Am toying with the
idea of connecting a bandpass filter with selectable bandpass filters within
the various hambands to the BNC connector.? Any concerns on this approach and
if so, what other methods are feasible and how to implement them.? I am looking
at simple and graceful way to do this without damaging the finals.
